Lenovo is using a magnesium alloy roll-cage internal frame design to keep the tablet strong, yet thin and light. The 7″ LED display will have a 1024 x 600 resolution similar to the Galaxy Tab 7 and offers a great visual experience. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As well as the usual Bluetooth, Wifi, micro SD, micro USB and stereo speakers one unique feature is it will have offline GPS and navigation with its unique chipset that will be powered by Navdroyd. Digitimes is now reporting that the iPad 3 will not be released until 2012 due to &lt;a href="http://www.apple.com/"&gt;Apple&lt;/a&gt;’s dissatisfaction with the Retina display of the device.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Digitimes indicates &lt;a href="http://www.apple.com/"&gt;Apple&lt;/a&gt; has canceled the iPad 3 supply schedule for the second half of 2011, and therefore no iPad 3 will be made available until 2012:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“&lt;a href="http://www.apple.com/"&gt;Apple&lt;/a&gt; was originally set to launch its iPad 3 in the second half of 2011 with a supply volume of 1.5-2 million units in the third quarter and 5-6 million in the fourth quarter, but &lt;a href="http://www.apple.com/"&gt;Apple&lt;/a&gt;’s supply chain partners have recently discovered that the related figures have all already been deleted, the sources pointed out.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The reason behind the delay is due to the belief that poor yields of the new 9.7″ 2,048 by 1,536 pixel Retina display fail to live up to Apple’s standards:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“Sources from panel players also pointed out that the 9.7-inch panel with high resolution requires a much larger backlight source and a single edge light bar is hardly able to reach satisfaction levels. Because countless rumors have been spread and leaked, it is nearly impossible to predict what features the iPad 3 will actually hold.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of the most popular rumors state that it will boost 4G LTE compatibility. This, of course, would only be available for Verizon users. Yet another says that the iPad 3 may even be the first real 3D tablet, in which case &lt;a href="http://www.apple.com/"&gt;Apple&lt;/a&gt; will probably use similar technology to the HTC Evo 3D. This will be highly improbable, though, due to &lt;a href="http://www.apple.com/"&gt;Apple&lt;/a&gt; already having trouble with retina display.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One thing that is constantly changing for this upcoming &lt;a href="http://www.apple.com/"&gt;Apple&lt;/a&gt; device is the release date. Originally, the iPad 3 was thought to be released simultaneously with the iPhone 4S/5, but this theory has been confirmed as incorrect. Since then, it has been delayed and scheduled to be released in early 2012.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Some people fear for the future of this project and &lt;a href="http://www.apple.com/"&gt;Apple&lt;/a&gt; itself after Steve Jobs resigned from his position as CEO of Apple, but he will still serve as chairman for the company, overlooking the iPad 3 and making sure it stays true to it’s original design. Since leaving his prime spot in the company, the Apple stock has dropped, illustrating just how powerful Steve Jobs was. New CEO, Tim Cook, may not be as iconic or recognizable, but if the iPad 3 is successful, he could very well be the new face of &lt;a href="http://www.apple.com/"&gt;Apple&lt;/a&gt;. Experts say he should have the skills to lead &lt;a href="http://www.apple.com/"&gt;Apple&lt;/a&gt; just as well, if not better, than Steve Jobs, but only time will tell how big of an impact he will have on the company.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are still quite far from the unveiling and actual release of the iPad 3, and until then, we can only dream of what features it may bring to the table. Apparently, Nokia has received more than a few inquiries as to what it means by “open” and “open source,” so it decided to clarify that today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="fullpost"&gt;Nokia says on it site:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As we have consistently said, Nokia is making the Symbian platform available under an alternative, open and direct model, to enable us to continue working with the remaining Japanese OEMs and the relatively small community of platform development collaborators we are already working with.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The company says it’s also keeping a close eye on those who are registering for the platform and is being more selective on approving those with whom Nokia will collaborate.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Symbian fans worried last fall that the foundation would be completely shut down and that any further innovation would come to a halt.
